The Legal professional Normal of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), has stated the federal authorities was dedicated to upholding the rule of legislation.
Naija Information reviews that Fagbemi stated the federal government launched into reviewing federal legal guidelines to modernize, consolidate and harmonize Nigeria’s physique of federal statutes.
The Minister of Justice disclosed this on Monday, in Abuja, whereas declaring open the second retreat of the Committee on Overview, Revision and Consolidation of Legal guidelines of the Federation of Nigeria (LFN).
He emphasised that the overall objective of legislation is to control human conduct by defending lives and properties in society.
The Minister acknowledged that the second retreat offered a chance to consolidate the progress made within the first section.
